I think Danny has a great chance of stopping him. Peterson was dropped in the 1st against Khan, the 2nd against Matthysse, and in the 3rd against Bradley(!) and Ortiz.
Danny is a sharper power puncher than all of those in my opinion, and bigger puncher than all of them except Matthysse. For Peterson to win this fight he'll have to barge his way inside and work Danny over. Peterson is a savage on the inside.
Ideally Peterson would box off the back foot and force Danny to come forward, something he's looked uncomfortable doing in the past. But Peterson is just as uncomfortable going backwards and in the end nature will take over.
If Peterson can actually turn it into a dog fight on the inside he has a shot, but I doubt he can. He'll take leather coming in and he'll almost certainly be hurt at least once.
Also, he's probably not going to smother Garcia to the extent he needs to either. As with Matthysse, he'll be indisciplined and leave space for that hook. And if Danny lands it flush that'll be all she wrote.
"This is a Al Haymon promotion and whichever one he deems THE cash cow will win and I hope I'm wrong, DALE SWIFT...."
Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!This is why i think the whole NBC HAymon deal is scary and Untrustworthy...I think when all is said and done it is nothing more than a means for Haymon to control a larger share of boxing events and therefore revenues...
