The weights are in for Saturday's Top Rank card. In the main event, two-time Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez of Nogales, Sonora will headline the show at the Laredo Energy Center in Laredo, Texas. As part of the UniMas “Solo Boxeo Tecate” series, Valdez (15-0, 13 KOs) will face Jose Ramirez (25-5-3, 15 KOs) in an eight round featherweight bout. Photos by Mikey Williams.
Valdez weighed in at 127.6-pounds and Ramirez was 129.3-pounds.
Also on the card, Olympic silver medal winner Esquiva Falcao (8-0, 5 KOs) of Brazil battles Omar Rojas (3-2, 1 KO). Falcao was 157.4-poounds, while Rojas was 156.2-pounds.
