Kell Brook has told Frankie Gavin to ‘be careful what you wish for’ as the Sheffield star defends his IBF World Welterweight title on a huge bill at The O2 in London on May 30, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Brook defended his belt for the first time in spectacular fashion in his hometown on March 28, flooring mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan four times inside the fourth round before the Romanian-Canadian’s corner spared their man further punishment.

I really like Kell Brook, but how can he slag off Amir Khan for fighting Algieri then he signs up for this? Makes zero sense? If it was a mandatory yeah. Rios/Bradley to name two. Fat Eddie strikes again

He's fighting Rios in July.

Brook probably shouldn't bother fighting in May at all but Fast Car needs his name on the card to make it a PPV.

I'm starting to really dislike Matchroom, at least for boxing. They've done a great job in other sports like Snooker, but I guess Eddie Hearn is the culprit here, his dad seems alright

This is actually a much better card in fairness.

The Bellew-Cleverly card was full of names but in fights they were expected to win.

I think Linares takes out Mitchell and Selby isn't favourite to beat Gradovich I don't think.
