    Rigondeaux would win easily.

I like Mares. He hasn't looked like the same fighter since Jhonny landed that huge shot. Mares looks tentative, hesitant, reluctant, and sometimes scared.

Until he gets his confidence back, I do not think Mares should go anywhere near Rigo as he would get decimated. I also suggest staying away from Leo and Russell as well.

Rigondeaux vs. Mares at 122 would have been a very intriguing clash of styles. Mares would have given Rigondeaux problems with his pressure in my opinion (cf. Mares-Moreno).

It is unfortunate that Mares decided to move up in weight despite still having a lot to accomplish as a super bantamweight. Looking at where he is in his career right now, he may regret that decision.

Becoming a champion in multiple weight divisions is not necessarily an achievement today with all these ABC titles. Broner and Linares are three-division world champions... Unifying and establishing yourself as THE champion (if possible, cf. Boxing politics) in your division should be the priority.

I think Rigo would toy with Mares.
