What if Brook picks up an injury? which is possible

Clash of heads for example, and ends up like panda bear eyes Thurmann.

July is only around the corner
With the Khan fight no longer an option for June, and a Marquez fight looking even less likely for July, what's the big summer showdown to look to?

So he has a clash of heads; then what? It's only May and, even with the delay, he'd likely be able to go again September/October (in just enough time to be an option for that final Mayweather fight, too).

A win over Gavin aint goin to lead to a Floyd/Pac fight

Brook wil be fighting in August, possibly against Rios

So how on earth do u think he'd be ready for September?

Brook aint goin to fight anyone major this year, the best ur goin to get is Rios

I agree in principle. The card does offer value for money.

But regular Sky shows have been dogshït for nearly two years now, and there's no value in subscribing to Sky for boxing when all the good fights are bundled into a PPV

Brook blew out Jo Jo Dan, in front of a raucous hometown crowd and on Showtime (live in the afternoon but also re-aired with the doubleheader). Brook vs Gavin, at the end of May, will also like get picked up by Showtime, in front of another raucous crowd; this time in London.

Mayweather would've smashed Pacquiao May and be looking for a new opponent for September; HBO isn't going to put up Canelo for the fight and Miguel Cotto will likely not have a middleweight championship to offer.

Kell Brook would be sitting there, hopefully unscathed from the May 30th fight, with three main event performances on Showtime, status as one of the top welterweights in the world, Sheffield fans ready to travel with him, and Sky Sports coming to the table with a ton of UK money to the pot.

He won't be the only option, but he'd have a compelling case for the fight; the heck with Brandon Rios, especially if a shot at Floyd is in the balance.

If you think that Tim Bradley is ready to go to England, take the short money on the fight, and convince Arum to let him fight on Showtime (Matchroom Sport seems pretty firmly in the Haymon universe), you're a more hopeful guy than me.

                  Makes money, makes sense.

It's just like Haye-Harrison: it's a domestic fight and a ****ing big one. To the rest of the world it seems pointless, but it's a smart fight to make considering theyre both English (or at least British?)

People need to stop *****ing. This is the perfect fight for an optional defense. Dude tried to fight fuckin' Amir Khan, he clearly isn't looking to be a new Ricky Burns.
