Lamont losing this and being stripped off his title is a victory for boxing.

For doing us this favor Danny would become an Angel (no pun intended) hehe.

Their respective results against Matthysse are misleading because styles do make fights and Peterson is right in saying Garcia is a counter puncher who's not likely to press and hunt him down as the Argie did. Peterson coped well enough to be in a photo finish with the lightning fast Khan, which was a close fight even without Khan's points deductions, and Danny knocking out Khan doesn't tell the whole story, does it. Sure, he timed him with a bomb in round three to turn things around but he had to do it right then because he'd taken a beating through two rounds and looked like getting overwhelmed. You might say that Garcia pulled it out like a real champ, and he gets credit for that, but if Peterson starts sharp and sticks to his boxing as he's intimated he will I can see him building a lead here. Danny is more rugged and more powerful and has already shown he can produce a game changing shot out of the blue. Might have to produce one again in a fight where the betting, imo, makes the other guy a much bigger outsider than he should be.
