I`d have Evander holyfield as the 1990's fighter. Not on achievement only, he was good for boxing, he was in the three fights with Bowe and two with Tyson. What a warrior!

You make a good case, he was the guy who finally put Tyson to bed as a decent boxer, and showed as much heart as anyone by fighting Bowe three times as well. But I think with the domination of top fighters such as Hopkins, Toney, Griffin etc, Jones takes it for me.

Jones for the 1990's definetely. He was somewhat invincible then. This decade is going to be from the light Welters and Welters, there is just so many of them that in the end they are going to have to fight eachother and one of them is going to end up emerging as the best. Mayweather,Hatton,Cotto and their is a fair few coming through as well, Amir Khan, Julio, im missing some! but yeah.

Yeah I agree with that, Ali in the 60's too. There was no-one else that really stood out either.
