    Danny's not fighting Lucas again so it's not like he can do what you're suggessting. I would love to see Lucas vs Manny. That would be great!!!

      And even if you think he beat Judah, he didn't get the nod and he had a very, very close fight with a shot Judah. Also couldn't beat Alexander clearly enough and got awarded a SD loss. I think this tells you everything you need to know about what level he really is.
      A more shot judah gave swift a decent fight.

      Alexander 10-0d Maidana.

      I thought Matthysse won both fights by a slight margin.

      Swift beat him 7-5+kd imo.

      Nobody has outclassed Matthysse.

      But I agree with others that he needs to prove himself at 147 first, unless Manny really is trying to go down to 140 like he originally said.

          If Lucas is as good as people say then he wouldn't have left it to the Judges to score a close loss for him. People talk like he's some elite fighter. He's not, he's B level if you want to be generous.

          The fact is that he has struggled almost every good fighter he's been in with. Peterson was a good win but apart from that he has come up short (Garcia) or lost close decisions against the other good fighters in his weight class.

          Now he can compete with Mayweather or Pacquiao at 147? haha come on. The guy was getting slapped around the ring by Molina

          The only reason i give him the time of day is because he's a hot piece of ass but as a fighter he isn't anything special.

            I think stylistically if Khan is on point he might give them both trouble but still Pac & Floyd the big favourites.
            I give Thurman a chance against them too.

              Duh... He's a businessman! Dude has made PLENTY of money off May already. Oscar is FULL my brother. Remember he made PLENTY as a fighter and making way more as the owner of GBP.

                Yes, according to the media he worked closely with Haymon... and built the GBP stable of fighters. It wasn't until ODLH took over that the stable diminished.

                GBP = Management / Promotion
                Haymon = Adviser / Matchmaker

                  Im disappointed Matthysse stayed with GBP. He had limited options. Unless top rank keeps delivering their fighters to him.

                  He'll never get Garcia again.

                  And LMAO at losing to Alexander our Judah. I'm a fan but he lost every Rd to Judah. No you're not a fan or a hater. You're an idiot.

                    The stable didnt diminish when Oscar took over , rather it was already thoroughly sabotaged by the time Oscar awoke from his drug induced stupor . By the time Oscar finally woke up and realized why no one was signed , Haymon had formed his company , had the networks in place and had everyone who previously was fighting under GB ready to sign under Haymon . So at that point , Oscar executed his last and only recourse ; sue Richard Schaffer for sabotage .

                      He might've gotten the Garcia rematch and possibly many more fights had he went with Haymon. He ****ed up signing with GBP. Haymon has no responsibility to Mathysse and doesn't have to put his guys in with someone that's already lost to his top guy at 40. Lucas is dangerous Haymon isn't ****** there is big risk in facing him for anyone and very little upside ... That chapter is closed. I still think the outcome would be the same if him a Danny did it again but again ... Why risk it? Especially when he's not part of the team.
