    Texas native James "Mandingo Warrior" Kirkland is training hard with new coach Bay Bay McClinton. Kirkland (32-1, 28 KOs) will face-off against Mexican boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez (44-1-1, 31 KOs) on May 9 at Minute Maid Park in Houston and live on HBO. Kirkland, who is co-promoter by Golden Boy and SMS Promotions returns for the first time since knocking out Glen Tapia in the fall of 2013. Golden Boy's star fighter, Canelo, is coming back in his first contest since last July's twelve round split decision victory over WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara. This will be Canelo's first fight on HBO since 2012.

              Call me crazy but I think I can beat Kirkland. I'm at 180 right now, but feeling extremely fast and agile, he is looking extremely slow. My fight weight would be 160 like GGG but I think as I am, I can take him. Size advantage favors me. Weirdly enough, I think Kirkland can bet Canelo. Gonna be a good one. WAR KIRKLAND!!!

                  No Ann, No Win....Fuccking dumbazz finally makes it to the show and left the person who got him there.....I hope he gets blown out in 2 or 3

                      Please, he looks like crap. Leaving Wolfe was his biggest mistake ever, remember what happened last time, well this time he's up against Canelo and not some bean pole. Dude is going to get worked over and stopped.

                          No Anne Wolfe??? He looks horrible, Anne Wolfe would of had Kirkland in beast mode. With Anne Wolfe in his corner he stood a chance. I think Canelo stops Kirkland within 7 rounds if that. Glen Tapia was whipping his ass until he hit a wall and punched himself out.
