Comments Thread For: Gavin: I'm Very Confident Kell Brook Can Be Beaten!

Frankie Gavin is ready to take on the challenge which Amir Khan ducked by fighting IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook in a big British world title clash next month.

A fight between Brook and Gavin has reportedly been agreed and could even be signed and announced officially by their promoter Eddie Hearn before the week is out.

Gavin will earn a career-highest payday - although nothing close to the multi-millions allegedly offered to Khan - when he challenges Brook at the O2 Arena in London on May 30.

The world title bid is a huge step up for Britain's only world amateur champion, but the 29-year-old Brummie is confident his pedigree will give him an excellent chance of dethroning the unbeaten Yorkshireman.

Perhaps, but not by you. Nor is it worth finding out. Very disappointed if this whole thing comes off, as a supporter of Brook and as a guy who tends to be on the side of Matchroom fighters over Warren's fighters, Hobson's, and Frampton. Bullsh it is bullsh it.

Gavin is quite skilled and has good movement. But he's undersized and out gunned here and will get stopped within 6 imo.

So much confusion right now. Let me get this straight, Kell Brook and Amir Khan went back and fourth like little girls talking **** about each other and their opponents only to ultimately both choose weak opponents. And Frankie Gavin is gonna walk on his fight with van Heerden? What a chump! When you take a fight, you finish it.

I'm also not clear on the rules. Does Brook's choice of voluntary defense override the IBF's ordered eliminator bout between Bradley and Gavin?

Maybe Bradley will end up fighting van Heerden instead?

If hearn thinks ths s.hit is going to be one of his PPV dreams he can think again ...this is a very poor match up, with Hearn around it will be difficult for Kell to make a name for himself , we all know it's business but this is monkey business, hearn and the Khan's need to take a really good look at what there doing at the moment because it's clear to see they are just waiting around , one a champion, one a welterweight contender! Not good enough by far !

I'm surprised Hearn isn't trying to sell the fight as PPV.

                    Hearn's a money grabbing snake.
