There are words that prior to Marquez 4th fight, Manny didn't train harder than before while Marquez was training like a maniac. We know the result on that one.
About what Freddie said regarding the "shakes" Ariza was giving Manny, we can take that with a grain of salt. He didn't like the guy, he despise that guy. But he can't do nothing cause Manny hired him. Once Manny gave him the nod, he fired his nosy butt. His hate towards Ariza elevated when Ariza kicked him in the chest, he might said it didn't hurt, but his pride did. Plus didn't, Ariza filed a defamation lawsuit against Freddie for saying those words?

I'm a Floyd fan, but I'm willing to call BS on other Floyd fans on this one. His power is "overrated" because he actually doesn't have that many KO's, but at the same time he carried his power up? Now don't get me wrong, Manny fans on here also over exaggerate his power.
I think the truth is somewhere in between. He has good power, but at the higher weights generally is not gonna knock you out.
I think some Floyd fans are afraid to admit that he is just a great athlete.
For me Pac fans won't admit he caught some of these people at the right time.
It is what it is, but Oscar drained himself, Hatton was coming off a career defining loss, and Cotto from what I understand basically trained himself for that fight. He did what he had to do and took them all out, but in hindsight that stretch of performances made the rest look pretty lukewarm even though the circumstances surrounding some of those fights was cloudy IMO.

This is a very respectable and logical post. I agree with most of it, at least. Manny is a natural puncher. He STILL is. Every fighter he faces, ends up changing the way they fight by fights end. From Roidquez to Bradley to Mosley to Algeri. They run or shell up once they taste his combination of speed and power. I think he would've stopped Mosley, Algeri, Bradley, Rios, and Roidquez, minus Memo in the 4th fight. Even in the third fight with Roidquez, when the fight was on the line, what did uncharacteristically do? He RAN in the 12th and gave away the fight. Now, why did he do that? A guy that doesn't trust the judges, all of a sudden runs when the fight is razor close??? Hmmmm.....The same thing is about to happen May 2nd. Floyd is going to run, hold, try and move once Manny starts tagging him. WATCH.
