Predict this weekends PPV numbers: Salido vs Rocky?

I can't see it doing to well. Salido vs Rocky with a NBC card on at the same time. If it would have started earlier it could steal some viewers but both are going live at 7:30.

Not sure what the purses are but I doubt they're too high so even if they do 20k at 50 a pop that's still half a mil after the split with the ppv provider. That should take care of most expenses, everything on top is profit. Which is why this model will unfortunately never die.

Only the hardest of hardcore fans will know and care about this fight.

Usually low-profile PPV's like this are only 20-30 bones.

Most likely they are getting around 30-50k.

My guess is it does about 3k buys @ 30 bones a pop... Which still equals 90k -enough to cover their purses.

The live gate will probably generate 20-50k.

Only if the fight does much better than expected - say 20k buys - will the boxers share in the PPV revenue.
