Salido at 34 yrs old and with 57 tough combats (many of them real wars including 12 loses) is well past his prime. In addition, Salido looked bad every single time he has fought above 126 Lbs. (been dropped many times and he was lucky to pick the title in his last fight). On the other hand, Martinez has fought at 130 Lbs for long time but the Rican is really an obscure fighter who hasn't beaten anybody important and has been received few gifts in his careers such as the "draw" against Burgos ot the 2 "split decisions" vs Magdaleno & Beltran. And again without doing nothing relevant since losing to Mickey Garcia since 2013 (only one fight against a guy with a 12-9 record) suddenly became the "mandatory" for Salido title. I think the WBO has been behind this and if the fight ever goes to the score cards it is easy to predict the local (Mtz.) getting another controversial decision like he has got in the past.
