Mayweather has been under the gun several times over alleged assaults. In 2012, he spent two months in a Las Vegas detention facility for a physical altercation involving Josie Harris, mother to three of his four children.

As for Floyd, yes he seems like a **** to me. But I don't care. And I have no idea about his personal life, whether he beat a woman or not. I understand he pleaded guilty in order to avoid a likely harsher sentence that would keep him from his kids longer. Is this a bunch of spin? I have no idea, and I don't care.

        This fight is about...fighting. Boxing!
Attention. Plain and simple, roach needs attention. I don't know how his personal life is but roach sounds like he's not happy. Roach used to spit a lot of knowledge on boxing but now roach Just sounds desperate. I blame this on the media time and the awards he's recieved over the years. Shiiet has gone to his head.

I swear you dudes are b!tches for real. Does it sound like I'm cosigning him being a woman beater you JACK ASS. It was/is a bad decision no matter how many times he did it just like Pacquiao mistakes or bad habits. I ain't no sucker like the majority of you on here always trying to berate a fighter over something they did when we all know that ain't no saints here on boxingscene. Also, I have nothing to do with what Mayweather does with or in his life so I don't have to deal with squat and it doesn't affect me either way. Stop being a girly man.

Just classless on Freddie's part IMO.
When your trainer sees your next fight as good vs evil..... you are screwed !

I really like and respect Freddie, personally I think this is in bad taste. It's also in bad taste for Boxing Scene to only specifically pick out that quote because they are making it seem like he came out of left field with that answer by not posting what the journalist asked. All of it is distasteful including the violence itself...this is a big event and it's unfair to make this any sort of a focal point at all. Floyd's history is well documented.

Well I am confident, Floyd had to do what he had to do in past fights to sell fights.. Thats not the case in this fight. I would have loved to see, some more press conferences to see what might unfold, but thats not happening..

Freddie is deploying Angel Garcia Tatics, but there just not going anywhere..
