Do you think anyone at 140 will give Terrance Crawford any problems?

i dont know how you could come to that conclusion when Herrera is basically on a 3 fight winning streak against Benavidez, Danny Garcia and Perez. He's at the top of his game right now. Dude just can't catch a break.

I thought he showed signs of slippage in the benavidez fight.. Herrera has been in a lot of tough fights and I think he's starting to show the effects

Herreras 1 of my favorite fighters & is why I didn't want to mention him but sadly until he adds some Pop to his punches all his fights will come to the same sad conclusion. Herrera does very well against counter punchers by slipping & feinting his way into a barrage of punches but that style requires some power to make the other fight hesitant to throw with him.

I'd pick TC over anyone in the division except maybe Matthysse. Not saying they'd be easy fights but Crawford can fight backward and forward, orthodox and southpaw, leading and countering. Who else in the division can you say that about?

Taking nothing away from Herrera, if he fought Crawford he wouldn't find a guy sitting on the ropes and covering up like Benavidez did. Good luck even getting Crawford near a rope.

Well, as huge as he was before 140 it should even things out a bit more now. Lets not act like Gamboa wasn't laying it in til he started just getting abused due to the sheer size diff. No one is as prolific as Gamboa in terms of explosiveness and raw skills at 140, but there are better fighters who just possess different strengths. As much as I like crawford and think he's a stud he's coming into a division full of wolves. I'm not even sure how he'd deal with Lamont, Algieri (I have to give Algieri a break for getting tooled by Pacquiao..it's pacquiao and Crawford isnt on that list but if he clears 140 holy s hit will he be a mega star imo), or Postol and Herrera. Provodnikov is interesting in terms of style but I think all things being equal that Crawford can edge it... but is Crawford going to seem as skilled vs guys like Prov when they're just as big and hit harder and aren't exactly slow? Crawford doesnt move like Algieri and I'm going to go out on a limb and say he isn't as tough as Bradley lol.

Once I see him in vs Dulorme I can better make a judgement vs Lucas and Danny whom I dont see anyone beating (Herrera for Danny aside...Postol and Algieri might be bad matchups for Danny as well but we have to give Danny his due and he's got massively underrated skills and who else can tank Danny's shots like Herrera? Lucas is the only one who took them fine and even he had a "kd").

If I had to bet on each fight I think Crawford beats Herrera...I get the su****ion that Crawford is gritty enough to beat Herrera. Algieri can feasibly win by decision and I only say that because I think Algieri can actually box Crawford and doesnt have an atg in Pac on his ass (I make this decision in ignorance obviously as we've yet to see crawford vs someone "good" but he's got quite the test t hat will answer questions). I can't pick between Postol and Crawford. danny and lucas hands down with lucas seeming to have a slightly more favourable matchup as he fights all night and Danny can fade...but I still pick them both. Crawford beats Peterson IF he can hurt Peterson (inb4 lolzlefthook is peterson's kryptonite).

I want to see Crawford and Broner. I cant tell who has the edge there at all in terms of style and I think that fight could separate them from the rest into that third spot.

Damn, 140 is stacked. hell, I even have a weird feeling about Dulorme vs Crawford

Good point... It's really a test to see if he is a legitimate 140, especially his chin.. I think crawford has all the skills, but still not sure of that chin. And 140 is loaded with guys that will test it..
