  • Comments Thread For: Team Shafikov: Bey Knows He Won't Be Champ Soon

A few days ago, the chairman of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), Lindsey Tucker, said that the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, notified them that the match between world champion IBF lightweight champion Mickey Bey and mandatory challenger Denis Shafikov had fallen apart. Top Rank also confirmed the information to the IBF.

In late March, the parties managed to avoid a purse bid as they came to an agreement for April 30th in Las Vegas. But now the IBF has been forced to schedule a purse bid for April 14th.

Why team Shafikov have such a big dirty mouth? They knock on Bey because they think that he didn't win against Vazquez but they forgot that while Bey at least made a case to winning, Shafikov was completely shut out by Vazquez and looked like a flat footed bum. Seriously I don't know what's up with these people they should try to realize their faults before they knock on somebody who fought better against Vazquez than Shafikov.

Another sighting of the elusive Mickey Bey fan?

Mickey Bey didn't do **** against Vazquez, neither really did, but now that Vazquez got robbed and its time to defend, Bey doesnt wanna get cracked and stopped and stripped of his fake ass belt. Vazquez should still have his belt, but if I have to choose between them, Shafikov should have it as he didn't actually completely embarrass himself by actually blatantly robbing him the way Bey shamelessly did.

Shafikov got completely owned by Miguel Vasquez. Bey gave Titere a much closer fight, that can't be denied even if you feel the the judge's decision was a robbery.

Nah, I'm not a Bey fan, he isn't that good but I have two eyes and I saw the difference between the two fights if you would have eyes too than probably you would have see it too.
