Who wins and why ?


My opinion:

i have Matthysse outboxing and punishing Rios for the first 6 rds but I have Rios by tko in the 10-12 rd . Rios got a iron chin and I feel he can take all of matthyse power shot .I'm not sold on matthyse chin or will against a guy like Rios .

Good fight but i gotta go with Mathysse simply because of his superior speed and boxing skills, he can easily outpoint Rios if he uses his jab and gets off combination and move out of the way, plus I don't think Rios has enough punching power at 147 so I don't expect him to change the course of the fight by landing 1 big punch.

I wouldn't completely count Rios out, if Molina was able to drag him into a dog fight and drop him twice, I think Brandon might make it interesting to say the least.

Mathysse takes shots to the temple/top of the head weird, he especially doesn't like to get hit there for some reason. Rios would bring it to him it'd be a war for as long as it lasted. Maidana would spell trouble too with those chopping right hands... It's probably why Maidana beat him in the AM's too.

Matthysse would beat his ass so bad, Rios is a come forward aggressive fighter with accumulation Ko's. Matthysse is a good boxer, he won several pan american tournaments and was 72-8 as an amateur. Matthysse moves, outboxes and outslugs him. Matthysse via corner stoppage or UD.

P.s everyone stop talking about the Molina KD's, Molina is really tall and throws it from an angle where it's difficult to see, Lucas said he was very sneaky and I'm sure Lundy and Bey would agree.

I asked Elie, he said he doesn't have the footage anymore. Rios didn't want him to upload it and Matthysse in an interview a while back said he got the better of Brandon.
