          Welliver posts at Boxrec.com.

Seems like a very nice fellow, but that's why he has an internet fanbase.

He's like a nice, professional, rotund version of Kimbo Slice...

Welliver will be a tep up in recent competition for McCline. Chauncy has an overblown waistline, but he says he'll re-dedicate himself to training for this fight. It is a true cross-roads fight for both fighters. It is sad that a 23 year-old is facing a crossroads fight, but Welliver could've done more with his career up to this point, but he just isn't completely focusaed on boxing. If Chauncy loses this fight, then he will probably retire. He has better skills than McCline, but doesn't have McClines power. However, McCline failed to put his opponent away tonight, and lost to Zuri Lawrewnce in unimpressive fashion. This will actually be a great fight for Stacy Goodson's slug-out3

welliver is an extremely fat white heavyweight with an affro-type haircut and v. pale complected. he looked like a whale in there. Not hating, just letting you know. I like the way he fights personally, some might hate it.

but from what I can remember, (only saw him fight once and it was over 2 years ago) he was technically sound with a decent jab and a tendency to clinch. the extra weight also didnt seem to really hurt his stamina because was doing well in the later rounds. of course this was vs john sergeant, an old man.
