unstuck. hes gonna get badly hurt against tarver & i will laugh
is it his fault he was the best? Name 1 fighter he ducked! A guy stays at the top for almost 20 years and maggots like yourself always find a way to talk ****. Maybe the reason his opponents were inferior was because Nard was just that much superior? Ever think of that? After all, he did win the first fight with Taylor in many fan's eyes, and at 40+ years old, to do that to a young feared guy liek Taylor, speaks for itself.

who would you have fought instead of you were hopkins, if you think he ducked everyone?

also, it was taylor who came unstuck in their first fight, not bernard. learn your craft, man.

Gatti K.O. Baldomir 4. Maybe earlier.
for 2006 its still too early to call but sure baldomir with that over achieving performance against zab, may be an early candidate...

if you end the year now, how long is the list of figthers that performed GOOD enough to be chosen figther of the year ??

alright, since you didn't answer the question, let me ask it again..

IF YOU WERE BERNARD HOPKINS, WHO WOULD YOU HAVE FOUGHT? WHO WAS BIGGER THAN THE SMALLER GUYS HE FOUGHT...DONT ****ING DODGE THE QUESTION.

And finally, size does not mean everything. Line up 4 guys like Valuev, and I'd consider Byrd, Donald, Evander, and Toney superior opposition.

Taylor didnt beat him convicily....i had the first fight a draw and you could make a claim that Bernard won both fights, Hatton ripped the championship off Tyszu.

            Enough said

3, Both against 40 year old fighter

Nah, Taylor did not desreve to be fighter of the year.
Taylor won 3 fights & 2 of his wins came against the P4P #1 ranked Hopkins. That was not your normal 40 years old guy. Also Taylor won both fights fair & square. I didn't see any robbery.

Jermain beat the best in his division in two of the most boring fights i've ever seen (by 'seen' i mean watched sporadically whilst flicking channels in disappointment). Hatton beat the best in his weight class in what can only be described as a bloody good tear up. The article 'the wrong man won' was unfair and jingoistic.

i would agree with taylor getting "fighter of the year" if he had actually "beat" Hopkins, but he didn't.
Hatton totally deserved he beacause he made tszyu quit and ko'd maussa

Taylor = Paper Champ who squeaked by The Old Man with plenty of trouble in the late rounds.

Hatton = He beat The Man, in convincing fashion. Zoo couldn't answer the bell. What more is there to say?

Taylor will need to earn the "Fighter of The Year" tag, just like Hatton, by soundly whoppin' a Champ or two.
