Here's another one:Hopkins went 1-2 in '05. He beat Howard Eastman and then lost twice to Jermain Taylor.

I'm sick and tired of this "you're the man if you beat the man mentality". It's getting really annoying....and when people start ranking fighters based on that....they look like jackasses IMO.

      Styles make damn fights....for real.

I agree Taylor won both fights and Hopkins cried like a lil b1tch about how he said he got "robbed".

I think the cum shot you got from Hopkins is blinding you, although Hopkins tried rallying back in the fight Taylor had a large enough lead to win that fight.

only BIG difference Hatton victory was undeniably absolute while Taylor's was close victories and somewhat arguable ...
I agree completely. And so did the most respected experts in the sport: The guys at the Ring Magazine!

no way. hes been fighting smaller &/or inferior fighters for yrs.
his only real step up was against roy jones jr, which he lost.
he finally fights a big, well skilled fighter in taylor & comes
unstuck. hes gonna get badly hurt against tarver & i will laugh

The difference is, Taylor's victories over Hopkins seemed controversial to many fans and many people at Ring thought Hopkins won, especially the first fight. Hatton obliterated his guy, Taylor squeaked by on a controversial victory and took more punishment than Hopkins did 4 to 1 in the first fight.

Hatton's showing was far more impressive. It was against a weaker guy though, I'll give ya that.
