Official Andy Lee vs. Peter Quillin Discussion thread

Looked like a combination of being stunned and fatigued. Quillin is gonna have problems if he doesn't dispatch Lee early.Quillin's also never fought any big punchers. They turned down offers from Macklin to fight Konecny (a JMW who was contemplating retirement due vision trouble). But he was badly wobbled vs Dionisio Miranda (granted he was younger then but it was the same year Lee lost on his feet to Vera), but it was a right hand that left him hanging on for life.
I recommend the whole video, but skip to 2:30 for when Miranda hurts Quillin.

Quillin/Lee agreed to a rehydration limit and Quillin's currently over it by 2lbs.
Quillin is weighing 176 seems he has to lose 2 lbs or there***39;s no fight

That's pretty much his standard rehydrated weight. It was reported surprisingly low for the Rosado fight at only 170 and remember it was in the 180's once but I can't remember which fight, maybe Brinkley since that was at 166lbs. Chavez was reported in the 180's vs Lee and it allowed him to walk thru Andy's punches, maybe that's Peter's goal.
Still Quillin/Haymon did this to themselves. Staying out of the ring a year and the ****** tv show appearance in the morning of the weigh-in when they knew he had problems...Comment

EURO BUMCalling Andy Lee a bum shows how little you know about boxing.
Lee is a very decent, capable and skilled boxer - he is also intelligent and will have a good plan for the fight.
I am not saying he is the greatest MW on the planet, but he is a worthy champ and will come to fight.
he isnt world championship materialComment
