How can I contact Al Haymon ?

Boxing in Australia has become an absolute joke with every fight other than espn on ppv including the PBC fights that are on fee to air tv in the US.

Yet UFC and wrestling are shown on normal cable and only the cards that are ppv in the US are ppv.

Now before you all call me poor or a tight ass let me explain that in order to watch all the boxing matches shown on tv in te last 12 mths it would have cost me around $900 while I pay just under $600 for cable for a year which includes virtually every game from every other sport in every major league in HD.

It's an absolute joke and its killing the sport here since it's basically inaccessible.

I feel for you guys but there's little that Al Haymon can do. Obviously none of the TV networks there want to pay to carry the fights live. I'm assuming they've done their research and the viewer demand isn't there?

Your other option is to find an IPTV subscription to UK cable service. They carry Box Nation, BT Sports and Sky Sports. There are a few services online at around $20 per month.

Obviously I stream most fights but it's more about the future of the sport.

There is a market here, Aus is the biggest sporting nation per capita in the world. The AFL average crowd is 40k and only half the country follows it.

When Mundine fought Green it was massive! like a mini Floyd v Pac.

It's not like these fights are selling ppv, maybe 1000 max, Al can do the same as he's doing in the US and let free tv show them.

Is there any way to contact him or his people ?

If you feel that strongly about the state of boxing in Australia, the best thing to do is lobby an Australian politician, preferably one that's a big fan of boxing.

I doubt Al Haymon cares about Australia.

Australia need to start producing for half decent talent for the television providers to give a **** about airing it.

no domestic superstars = no investment

That's what I mean, if its going on ppv then he'd rather take a cut of a tiny ppv than have it shown for free.

Why is he trying grow he sport in the US while ignoring a small but potentially lucrative market.

Don't worry, if he succeeds in the US best believe he'll be coming for the UK and Australian markets.
