Garcia clearly won with no controversy but if Matthysse keeps winning and Garcia stays at 140 he will have no excuse not to rematch him if he is deemed the most deserving challenger. If that happened it would give the impression of Garcia looking like he doesn't want a considerable risk again even though he came out on top when he took that risk but still alot of danger present.

Garcia-Matthysse was close though. Garcia boxed very well, got lucky with the eye and still the fight was close. If Matthysse is one-dimensional then not much more can be said for Garcia.

Im a fan but I'm also a realist. Matthysse isn't gonna take over JWW. The end is near and it might just be in the Ruslan fight. He's getting into these wars late in his career and he isn't getting any younger.

Only way Garcia becomes a champion at WW is by fighting the Bon Salsas and/or shot Morales'es of the world. Which is possible with Haymon at the wheel.

I can see Garcia beating Maidana at WW and a Thurman fight would be competitive. The style to cause Garcia problems or beat him is a speedy boxer type. Any of these power relying guys that are not as fast has a problem with Garcia.
