yeah cant take it for granted that the fight will happen. co-ward may decide to have another 5 years of doing nothing, think the fire has burnt out with co-ward. Like many fighters, they have the hunger to get to the top and willing to take the hard fights when unproven, e.g super six, now hes there its gone, and doesnt want any more hard work. thats why he fights paul smith, alexander brand etc. brace yourselves for a pull out.

In a fair fight, I have no doubt Kovalev would win. But home country advantage may be a factor in this one.
With an honest, neutral referee, Ward would be stopped from his illegal tactics (arm-clamping, head butts, low blows, hitting off the break, etc).
Kovalev may well be fighting two men in there... referees can make a difference, as we saw in Salido-Lomachenko.Comment

Why is it that fans of the feared, hard hitting "killer" are always making pre-fight excuses against the scared, frail boxer? In a fair fight, I have no doubt Kovalev would win. But home country advantage may be a factor in this one.

I guess, I see Ward perform some masterful **** in there. He does use some sly veteran tactics though. In a fair fight, I have no doubt Kovalev would win. But home country advantage may be a factor in this one.
