  • A lot of "Interesting" fights this year...

    Not necessarily "MEGA" fights...

I don't care what anyone says...the next "super DUPER" fight is if Floyd and Hatton remain undefeated to clash for a title...

anyway, some interesting fights...which is not a bad thing...

Cotto/Malinaggi (spelling?) - Not the mega fight with Hatton or Castillo that people wanted, but two undefeated fighters...fight takes place in NYC...the big stage...brash, ****y, outspoken, slick speedy Italian vs the quiet, well liked, power punching Puerto Rican...I am very excited about this fight...Cotto may stop Mali early...Mali may prove to fast and slick to take Cotto to a decision while all of us sit round after round waiting to see if Cotto lands "the" punch...INTERESTING

Gatti/Baldomir - Gatti after being thrashed by Mayweather and written off as nothing more than a first ballot slugger with heart. Now takes Floyd's spot for the linear title at WW vs a very beatable fighter for him. Gatti could easily (maybe not EASILY), but comfortably and retire the REAL welterweight champion of the world. This win would completely solidify his place in the HOF...INTERESTING

Help list some more "interesting" fights...whether they are highly star power mega money fights or not...I'd rather they not be...

i've seen Jorge Arce fight once or twice, i don't see how you'd call him and his style a waste of time. He's exciting to watch.
