Your arguments defending Khan's choice are weak. Rios lost to Pacquiao by a score of 120 to 108 while Algieri lost by a score of 120 to 103. Both were one sided fights but 120 to 103 is clearly a worse loss than 120 to 108. Algieri would be coming into the Khan fight directly off the Pacquiao loss. Rios would be coming into the Brook fight off of two wins since the Pacquiao loss including a spectacular KO of Alvarado. Algieri is the 8th ranked 140 pounder in the world and Khan is competing as a 147 pounder. Rios is the 10th ranked 147 pounder in the world which is the size fighter Brook and Khan are supposed to be fighting. Algieri is a weak puncher and no threat to KO a world class fighter like Khan or Brook. Rios is a hard puncher with both hands to head or body and any welterweight who fights him could be knocked out by Rios if he gets in his best punches. Rios is a much better opponent than Algieri and if either Khan or Brook fight Rios I would admire their choice of opponents. Algieri is a poor opponent and I think you know it. If Brook were fighting Algieri I think you would criticize him because you are clearly a devoted Khan fan and some Khan fans don't like Brook.

They all know if Brook fought Algieri, they would bash the fight.. Some fans arent even fanboys anymore... they're borderline cheerleaders and feel the need to blindly defend the fighter as if they're family or personal friends lol

          Great points.
Khan is a joke, anyone that can't see that is blind, he wants the big fight, but still hasn't beat a solid opponent in years. Algeri is the new Paulie, no power, just what Khan's glass chin needs. Khan wouldn't fight Rios, yeah Khan could out box him, but if Rios landed a bomb, we have the Prescott fight all over.
Rios is not a bad fight for Brook, it is not like Brook chose Rios over Khan, it is Khan who is choosing Algeri over Brook. If they fight in NY, they could rob him just like the Peterson fight, that would be hilarious.
