    Let's see....

Too much public backlash for announcing he will fight Algieri, so now Khan says "its just one of the guys we are looking at". lmfao

Can't fight Broner because Khan can't make 145, can't fight Cotto because it is in June, can't fight Brook because he is being disrespectful, can't fight Bradley because.....?

Guess he will be forced to fight Algieri

brook, bertoz, ortiz, and porter are ready since thurman is'nt and broner wants a catch weight. the coming off a loss 140 pounder algieri is a pathetic choice for a guy like khan who thinks that he's in the upper echelon of fighters. well fight them then you no chin coward.

How come khan is still looking for an opponent. Few days ago he made a "winner take all" offer to Brook. Brook accepted that offer readily. So what in the hell a mere khan is still making noise looking for a dance partner. All khan has to do is call Brook and there will be a fight. Khan is just bull****ting.

But some guys saying he doesn't need a rest before Ramadan is silly. 30 days of fasting from before sunrise to sunset at least 20 hours. Obviously after having a big fight you can't just rush into Ramadan. Especially if he gets battered and bruised. But he should still try finding a better opponent for his May fight.
Then go to New Zealand, Chile, South Africa - less than 10 hours of daylight so problem solved.

This is the only thing I could find that talks about preparing early for Ramadan.
What do you guys think? I think he has time to fight and is using Ramadan as an excuse to avoid potential dangers. Here's the part of the article I found that comes close to what Amir's saying but IMO no cigar.

                    1. Mental preparation before Ramadan is crucial and it goes hand in hand with the Dua. The Prophet would always make Dua at the close to the arrival of Ramadan and say: "Oh Allah make us reach Ramadan." Be conscious of the entire atmosphere before hand so that when it is here, it does not take you by surprise. How can anything so valuable to us take us by surprise when we love its company? Start preparing for it from the very beginning. Look at the days of the year it fall in, what does that coincide with - TAFE exams? University exams? Work commitments? What time is Iftar? What time is Taraweeh? What does that imply for your days, should you be starting work earlier to make it to Iftar on time? What time is Fajr? How many hours of sleep will you need? So on and so forth so that when Ramadan comes, you're smooth sailing and you can ride the wave.

This is a very good and valid point. I didn't think about this but you're right. If he takes a beating then he would need time or he could start his Ramadan very weak and beaten. Thanks for the post.
