That's who your boy was fighting for nearly the first 7 years of his career. Joshua's only been a pro for less than 2 years with 11 fights, he still has alot of improving to do. Still even now his boxing skills are far more refined than Wilder's laughable flailing swings.

I just looked alright to me, nothing special. Joshua is in tremendous shape, has an incredible physique, has decent skills and power but he doesn't seem to have a jab - at least not against Gavern last night. He looked like he was loading up on all his punches, the jab was nonexistent and he doesn't have too much speed on his punches.

Maybe Joshua is fighting down to his opposition and needs a good challenge in front of him
