Dude is 38 years old and looked like hot garbage last year. Those guys you listed have never even come close to being KOed and were in their primes. If the reports about him getting worked in camp are true (as we can now conclude they were about DLH when he was a 3-1 favorite against Manny) then it's not all that crazy to think he'd get run over by Manny.

I don't know why you keep using the De La Hoya comparison, that's a pretty horrible example. De La Hoya was only a part time fighter, hadn't fought at WW in years (his fault for choosing that weight), and was so far gone off on drugs and alcohol at that point he probably didn't even care about the outcome. Mayweather might be slowing down but he's still the P4P #1 fighter in the world, is active, still trains his ass off, and is undefeated. Just don't see any similarity even if the rumor that he's having trouble in sparring is true.Comment

And Manny is 36 and looked worse in the second fight with Bradley than he did in the first. And what does De La Hoya have to do with this fight? There are several differences between De La Hoya and Floyd. De La Hoya was semi active, on drugs which can be corroborated from the pictures of his drug fueled sex parties, and hadn't beaten a top fighter in YEARS. He was also moving down to a weight class he hadn't fought in seven years. Also, Oscar is not a counter puncher.Dude is 38 years old and looked like hot garbage last year. Manny is not 29 anymore and he not too long ago suffered a vicious KO. The circumstances in this fight are MUCH different.Comment
