He was a bit too cautious at some points of the fight, I think he could have ended it in the first few rounds if he'd wanted to. Looks like the sessions with Lennox Lewis have given Haye an extra dimension. -

looks like an athlete
David Haye looks like an athlete. I've only seen him briefly on a boxing clip but I could see right away that he has everything it takes to be a great fighter. If he keeps busy and wins a title at cruiserweight within a year or 2,we may eventually see him fighting as a heavyweight. I have little doubt that he could beat a good number of the top 20 heavyweights in the world already.Comment

He didn't impress me too much last night, he pondered and probed, OK good to see him thinking but his opponent was not in his class, I think its time for him to step up and test himself with some quality opponents.
He has good skills and power but I would like to see him have to dig deeep against a quality fighter!Comment

i saw the fight too.
To be honest i think the single loss he suffered vs carl thompson was good for him.
I think he was just being cautious just to show ppl he can go more than 4 rounds tbh. If you saw his website...he feels as if he has to prove he has the stamina since he think he has been labelled as a guy with 0 stamina.
Im sure he has been working on his stamina so he will definately be a solid contender for a world belt should be keep on improving his stamina and perhaps now show his true skill and be less cautious
