I've seen some pretty ugly stuff on these boards, even more so now the fight is happening. Some have gone so far as to link their desires/wishes to what God supposedly wants (sick and disturbing). Then there are those that see this as some sort of social war where the "saintly man of the people" is battling the "horrible materialistic ****** gangsta". People, it's the biggest event in a sport we're supposed to love. Living vicariously through one of the two protagonists or making it about your personal issues is weird and pretty sad.

It's bad bruh, this here isn't even the worst. I've seen so much shhhh hurled at both men from all sides and for the dumbest of reasons all over social media and other boxing sites. I just hope both men have their fight and get to go home intact when it's all said and done. Don't care who wins this fight at this point, the damage is done...with the whole world watching it happen.

I have no problem with someone wanting one guy to win or another. Usually because they fight the way you like, you respect the heart they show or even somehow you relate to them. But the levels it goes to boggles the mind. Much prefer to talk tactics than deal people's personal hang-ups.

I do get a chuckle from the people treating this as though it was going to be a walk in the park for Floyd. We have every right to dislike a fighter. We don't even need a good reason. I disliked Fulgencio Zuniga just because of how ugly his face is. So if you dislike Pacquiao, just say "I dislike Pacquiao".

But when you discredit the fighter he is AND the threat that he poses to Floyd, it's clear that you don't like him but you're expressing it in a very juvenile way. I assume most of those who do are still in their early teens, and for that, they get a pass. But those of you who are >20, you should be ashamed.

He was Fighter of the Decade, not Floyd. Roach was Trainer of the Year 5 times (3 more than any other trainer since the Futch-Condon Award began), not Sr. or Roger. Pacquiao holds the World Record for titles in multiple-divisions, not Floyd. (P.S. people can piss and moan about catch-weights all they want, but a Division is a RANGE of weight, not the limit. Welterweight is 140.1 to 147.... not 147). If you weigh 140 on the nose, you are a Jr. Welter. If you then eat so much as a peanut, you are officially a Welterweight. It's Pac that was awarded Fighter of the Year 3x, to Floyd's 2x.

Will Mayweather win? Probably. If it comes between losing and riding that bike, he'll pedal like his undefeated record depended on it. But this will require the uppermost limit of his A Game. Pacquiao may have all the weaknesses that would cause him to lose, but Floyd lacks the most important tools to beat Manny (output and power). Floyd outclasses you... he doesn't knock you on your ass. He doesn't have that kind of power. He either has to beat you down round after round (Corrales, Hatton) or catch you unaware (Ortiz, Gatti).

So I'll admit it, I just don't like Floyd. I think he's a hood rat who has two strengths: fighting his ass off and surrounding himself with people much smarter than himself. Otherwise, he's loud, crass, devoid of tact, immature, DEEPLY insecure, and just plain dumb. The guy is a dummie. BUT, I think he wins this fight and he's going to bust Manny up in the process.

But you better believe Manny is going to tax his ass as well! On way to a decision victory, Floyd is going to know hurt he hasn't felt since a cracked out Floyd Senior used to beat him with a fly swatter.

Well the main reason this fight is what it is , is because the OVERWHELMING majority of the public want to see Jr lose nobody likes the guy for very well known reasons.many really want Manny to win and many folks even expect him to win and thats a tall order to do what the majority of the public expects from you.
Manny has a great shot jr hasnt exactley lookd stellar in his last 2 bouts..
