GB still has Canelo who after Floyd and Manny is the biggest star in boxing. They got Hopkins, Matthyse and Lemieux. And a ton of youngsters who are primed for stardom like Jojo Diaz, Frankie Gomez and Francisco Vargas. They got Sadam Ali too. Haymon had to cut Oscar a huge check. I'm guessing he'll have to do it again for Khan. But GB ain't going nowhere they got a ton of young studs.

because he was still under contract for the alexander fight according to khan the deal ended after that fight

Yes they would! I really don't like Kahn but I respect him! He's a good fighter that can beat a lot of fighters except Thurman, and some skilled ****ers!!! This would be a huge hit for Golden boy!!! They would only be left with Canelo!!!

Yeah, I think GBP is set up pretty well moving forward.

They have a solid group of young talent, and they're doing a pretty good job of keeping many of them active, and they're doing many of their fight cards in So. Cal and Texas, two of the biggest and best boxing markets in the country, and great regions to be building their fighters and their audience.

A promoter doesn't lose as many fighters as GBP lost without needing some time to rebuild, but people need to look below the surface of just their HBO fighters (Canelo, and to a lesser extent Matthysse and Ali) and see the guys like Randy Caballero, Francisco Vargas, Ivan Morales, Frankie Gomez, Antonio Orozco, Joseph Diaz, Diego De La Hoya, Julian Ramirez, et al., a lot of whom aren't even 25.

As of right now, they have the FS1 deal which gives them a great venue for a lot of their prospects, and they have a good relationship with HBO (which includes HBO Latino and maybe some fights on TruTV, as well...because while the TruTV deal is with Top Rank, look at the undercard bout of the 5/15 Top Rank TruTV card and you'll see a GBP fighter, Antonio Orozco, on the card in a fight that was originally scheduled for a prior GBP/HBO Latino card).

Canelo is trash whos gna get worked as soon as he quits the 155lb game and moves up to 160. Hopkins lol u act like Hopkins is a ppv fighter who brings loads of exposure for gbp, negative. Matthysse gets sparked by Provo, and Lemieux will never ever be a star........Sadam Ali is trash as well.
