Floyd made his bed. He is a branded Racist and has dissed great fighters and is an extreme narcissistic. A sht head, really. That's what the public sees and he will be judged by the public. It is what it is.

While I agree. I think today we live in a very, very shallow world and Mayweather just feeds the gossip hungry people what they're starving for. The public judges people by what they read on websites, in newspapers and mostly (sadly) what they see on tv. Not on personal experience, as in conversation or time spent. It is totally right that Mayweather has given us all a persona to hate but I can't do that because I need more than hearsay and tv to form such strong emotions about a person. I've seen all the same things, read the same clipping and watched the same youtube vids but don't know the man. Just as I don't know Manny Pacquiao. I never shook their hand, spoken to them or heard them laugh. It's hard not to judge people, but I just try to remember the "walked a mile in their shoes" saying.

In Britain, at one time, Nelson Mandela was branded a *********. Not that I for one second am comparing Mayweather with the great man. Just making a point that perception (especially media perception) and reality are rarely the same thing. I can readily believe that the majority of the US would support Pacquiao. Some for what he does in the ring and others for their perception of the man. Each to their own.

Actually many have gone public to state that Floyd is the exact opposite of what he portrays under the moniker "Money May". And as many with sense would guess, its difficult having so much wealth, and not have leeches coming from every direction. Just ask Manny ..... Look at his entourage ...
