Just fight him at 147 or shut up. Pick a weight class and fight in it. Don't be another Cotto or Mayweather with your own custom weight of 144 just for you. You are going to 147 soon enough so just do and be done with it. You know you will never fight at 140 again so vacate the title and give guys who can still make 140 a chance to be the 140 pound champion. Maidana would beat him in my opinion but it's a close fight and a good fight.
