Comments Thread For: Khan: My Speed, Power Will Break Floyd Mayweather!

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with former super welterweight champion Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs), who currently holds the WBC's silver title at 147-pounds. The former Olympic silver medalist has campaigned for a fight with pound-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) the past couple of years with no success.

While Khan still holds out hope that Mayweather, holder of the WBC/WBA world titles at welterweight and junior middleweight, will face him after his May 2nd super fight against Manny Pacquiao, he does admit that the fight may not ever come to fruition.

Weak whiskers, exposing them could be career ending, expose them only when the money is right

The problem is...Pac will win the fight. And when he does win, Mayweather might ask for a rematch.

So , it's better you face Brook. Khan could make potentially more money facing Brook anyways with all that UK money.

Against Floyd or PAC...he's looking at probably 1.5 to 5 million as his purse.
I think he can make at the very worse ..something close to that against Brook.

You are wasting time Amir. Schedule a fight with Bradley, Brook, Thurman or even Danny Garcia. If you win, fans will be excited to see you fight Floyd. Your chin is an easy target for Floyd...prove us wrong. Get the other WW elites. Danny Garcia is not a WW, but we all know what he did to you.

I don't want to see this fight because khan has a soft chin.
Easily get knock out either pacquiao or mayweather. His not in this level.

The most talked about/anticipated fight of the last half decade is about a month away. Why are we posting soundbites of a guy who hasn't even won a real World championship yet at any weight class?
