Why do you guys want to continue to reinforce this championship farce by wanting them unify the belts they shouldn't have?

Both are fairly entertaining fighters whose skill levels are not THAT far apart. Betting odds are only 2 to 1, which is as even as we ever get in boxing. This should make for a decent fight. After the Herrera robbery, it's open season on Garcia, and there's no reason to continue believing Garcia is some unstoppable force.

Am I to believe the forum is actually a bunch of magpies in disguise that are easily entertained by shiny objects? Is that why you watch boxing? For the shiny trinkets? Not the fights? It's practically the same same fight at 143 that it would have been at 140, and I don't see how shiny belts should add or take away your enjoyment.

Who's calling it a mega fight?
My sentiments exactly. I never give a damn about the belt... It's a FIGHT to me. Fck all that WWF shyt.

Peterson is a boxer with good inside skills whether he chooses to fight outside or inside he'll beat Garcia

Its not so much who he has beaten but that he has some decent wins and is shown to be very competent in the ring only being beaten by the best available fighters.

Danny Garcia does not have the skills and speed of Timothy Bradley and he doen't have the raw power of Lucas Matthysse. Yes, Garcia can KO any fighter with that left hook, but he's going to have to catch Peterson early with it. After 5, you will see the all around skill set and body work of Lamont take over the fight. I saw an old Zab Judah taking it to Danny in the last few rounds and a C level fighter like Herrera outwork him. Lamont is an all around better fighter at this stage of his career than those 2. If he avoids the big left hook, he wins the fight.

You are setting yourself up for depression.

Headrerra was jabs and headbutts all night. The judges were not fooled.

Danny is in top form and he holds a zero lose legacy. He will knock Peterson out pretty easily.

Peterson always was a slow starter, and is not at his best in the early beginnings. He always seem to turn in to a different beast as the fight wear on. Lucas Matthyse didn't even knock the guy out, he took that left hook and got back up. At the end of the round, he got back up. It would had been a war, had they let the fight continue.
LIKE I SAID YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BOXING!!!

As I SAID PETERSON IS A SLOW STARTER, AS THE FIGHT WEARS ON, HE GETS BETTER and IS A DIFFERENT BEAST, AND I PICKED GARCIA TO WIN.
