Why exactly would Broner have a problem with Chris? It would be a competitive bout but Broner now fights just to win.

Speed, activity, awkwardness, elusiveness......this isn't some slow stationary punching bag who is just going to come to AB and be there to hit the whole fight.Comment

Algieri isn't fast, let alone faster than Broner. Never been awkward, isn't elusive and the fact that he opens up only gives Broner more counter punching opportunities. Algieri may move around but he still gets hit a lot.Comment

He is pretty fast, he wasn't looking like he was underwater against Pac and you need decent speed to create that image but if you want to call him spastic instead of awkward fine, he is certainly not conventional.
Since when is Broner this master counter puncher with accurate timing of punches. The guy has no gameplan never does, he always looks like he is just trying stuff in there hoping it works.Comment

Since when does one have to be a master counter puncher to touch Algieri? Provodnikov did it without a fuckin' jab, all while loading up. I liked that you mentioned activity because Algieri, again, gives Broner more of an opportunity to counter, he doesn't keep his right hand up when he's mixing up his attack, that makes him more susceptible. He is pretty fast, he wasn't looking like he was underwater against Pac and you need decent speed to create that image but if you want to call him spastic instead of awkward fine, he is certainly not conventional.

I don't know about this whole gameplan fiasco, Broner simply needs to be himself. Whether he wants to put on a great performance is another story but Algieri isn't outboxing shit.Comment

Provo is on opponents like stink on ****, that isn't Broner, he fights in spots most of the time leaving the possibility that he gets outhustled. Its a good even match but lets not pretend Broner is some proven top fighter he isn't. The Pac fight is no indicator of how this would go in anyway shape or form.Since when does one have to be a master counter puncher to touch Algieri?
