Pacquiao returns from a dominating performance over Chris Algieri in November. Algieri went down six times in the contest, but Roach didn't like the fact that Pacquiao was following him around the ring a little too much. He wants Pacquiao to avoid doing that in May, because Mayweather will use that type of approach to set up his right hands.

I actually don't have any problem with Roach here. For once, he is actually focusing on his fighter rather than Mayweather. Floyd's going to do what he does. Roach can't control that. He can however control what Pac does. So he should continue focusing on Pacquiao.

Did Pacquiao do anything Roach planned on doing in the interview??? The worst part about the interview for Pac/Mar 3 is that they never got right even for Pac/ Mar 4... Yikes

I wonder if they can get it right for Mayweather

it was more of Floyd's physical advantages and attributes that allowed him to dominate the way he did. not to say he's smarter or not but if you got two guys with about the same ring iq and fights with the same philosophy (in this case counterpunching) but one guy is more physically gifted than the other (height, reach, speed, quickness, strength, etc) who wins everytime? don't forget Marquez was a blown up lightweight at the time.

Both guys will be facing skill sets they haven't see before. Manny will have to deal with Floyd's straight rights, and accuracy, his defensive magic and good chin. But I think like most of pacs opponents Floyd is gonna find out real fast that he has seen nothing like Manny either, when he is on,which most of the time he is, a whirlwind of speed, movement and power.

If Floyd can get past about the fourth round without taking too much damage and figure out a way too defuse pacman I see him pulling out a points victory. But I'm thinking Floyd gets f'd up in this one before round 6. Either way I'll enjoy the display but I'd love to see Mayweather get his ass sparked.

Both have great strait crosses and lead-hand hooks. In other words, they both have the two best punches that are used to deal with opposing stances. We'll have to wait and see who's will be more effective.

Didn't say that dude..... if you look at those fights in particular, the rights he caught with his face, he can not take from Mayweather, those were two examples, but he gets hit a ton with straight rights. Its the main shots he gets rocked by. Pac gets lazy with his jabs constantly....he tends to roll it when he doubles up, or drops it low with no intentions, trying to get off his straight left...he comes in head first.

Imo, Pacs biggest weakness is that punch. Yes, he overcomes it with his offense, but that will be a much harder task when its Mayweather, especially when its Mayweathers best and hardest punch.

Although the video is biased and can make anyone look bad, just look at when he gets hit, lazy jab 95% of the time.

That is one problem I see with Mayweather, he observes his opponent to get a better feel of patterns/timing before putting the gas on. When you have someone who's movements and timing is not only very quick, but very unorthodox that observation time is very dangerous. Of course Floyd is the best at what he does, at the same time, so is Pac.
