Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Sr., feels Manny Pacquiao's leg issues could play a significant role in their upcoming fight - which takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Members of Pacquiao's team have admitted in interviews that the Filipino star is having problems with leg cramps. Pacquiao's calves have been cramping up during training and causing him pain.
Pacquiao's camp members are not overly concerned. The fighter has battled and overcome leg cramps in the past. Floyd Sr. says the leg issues could come about in the contest - and if that happens the veteran coach will advise his son to switch up the game plan accordingly.
