Do you realise that if Cotto gets stripped it will be because he is not willing to defend his lineal championship? This lineal thingy is not something that ones taken can be kept forever. It has to be defended.

No, it will not be. Cotto was granted an optional, with the condition he fights GGG after. He hasn't fought since winning the title, Adonis has fought and defended his title since then. Respectfully, to judge them equally regarding defenses is preposterous.

The lineal title is in no way devalued just because Kov and GGG have not gotten to fight for it yet. Crap politics like this has always been an issue. These guys just have to deal with it same as those before them.

I think it's funny you think the WBC is now some organization that actually gives a **** about following the rules. Their own rules say they can change the rules at any time, it literally says that. So they could wipe their ass with their mandatory, say we're giving Cotto another voluntary against Canelo/Floyd and guess what... it would be perfectly legal, they wouldn't be breaking any rules because again, they have a rule saying they can change the rules whenever they want.
