It's all about the way a fighter fights. Nobody questions James Kirklands heart Cuz he comes to fight. He's a warrior. Now if someone says that Floyd Mayweather isnt a warrior, you can't get mad or offended and make it out to be a race thing. Nobody questioned the black fighters of the past. Tyson, Bowe, Hollyfield, Hagler, Hearns..... Why?? Cuz they came to ****ing fight.
It's ignorant to question ones' heart due to style, it's all about whether their willing to overcome adversity, nothing else.
The words Race or rather Racism cover a gamut, not just race. They cover race, color, creed, nationality, even certain groups. Racism is in this century at least the cover label used to define those aforementioned differences to create less confusion.

i get your point and i understand, there are different ways to discriminate, racism is one of them, i know that. jhonny did say he had more heart than russell because he (gonzalez) is mexican, not because he is white, and he didn't say russell had/has less heart because he (gary) is black. he would have said the same fighting any other fighter, regardless color or nationality.
