Brook, Khans and Thurmans Inside Game and Bodywork?

Who has the better inside game? and works the body better?

I was just listening to the boxingvoice podcast

and they were discussing Brooks lack of bodywork and that he is simply a headhunter with no inside game...and that they feel when someone starts working his body, he'll run into trouble

    what do u think?

Khan as we know has no inside game, only in the last 2 fights i have seen him work the inside, not alot, but its a start. However Khan is a underrated bodypuncher, his bestwork comes when he break his opponents body apart

how do u rate Thurmanns inside work?

James went in on Brook's lack of body attacks.

By default Thurman has the best inside game. He's good at shuffling his feet around you, and creating angles to maximize his punches in close range. I don't think he's the classic Jose Luis Castillo or Chavez Jr. type of in fighter, but he's great at suddenly getting inside on you, and landing hard combinations.

    Edit: I meant Chavez Sr.

None of them have a good inside game and they all know it. Brook and Khan resort to holding while Thurman has openly stated that he needs to improve his inside work. Khan and Thurman are both good body punchers; Khan dropped and hurt Maidana and Collazo while Thurman did the same to Diaz and Chavez. Brook doesn't go to the body at all really except for the occasional jab to the midsection.

Sadly, haven't watched the fight yet. Still got it sitting on my hard drive. Gonna watch it tonight. Definitely gonna look out for his lack of body attack.

Thurman definitely has the best bodywork between the 3 but his overall inside is nothing to write home about. It's still better than Khan and Brook who are almost non existent inside.

That's true about Brook being a headhunter now that i think about it, even against Dan he was smothering himself a lot when looking for the KO and he couldn't mix it up . Didn't matter in the end i guess.

All 3 have a piss poor inside game.

Thurman is a vicious body puncher, Khan's body work is decent, Brook does very little body work.

I think Thurman's lack of inside game will be the hardest to expose not only because he has good footwork and is mobile, but also fighters hesitate when closing the distance on him, due to the power. But he doesn't clinch and that could be a problem. Brook and recently Khan do a lot of clinching.

Also Brook is the least mobile out of the 3 so closing the distance on him is easier.

Kell showed he has a good inside game vs Porter and Kell is extremely strong and I think Thurman showed that he can hold his own inside vs Guerrero who I think is a absolutely workhorse on the Inside and that is where he is best at.
                Khan has ZERO Inside Game!

Body Punching all can do it, Khan seems to be a pretty good body puncher, he put guys on the canvas with Body Shots so you have to give him credit for that. Thurman is a good body puncher as well, Thurman goes to the body serious Power as seen vs Chaves.

Kell...I will be honest, I don't remember any of his body work in any of his previous matches to be very honest

None of them have an inside game to write home about. All of them like to work from the outside.

As far as body work goes, I feel all 3 need more work on that also. Kell has a very good jab to the body, used it very well to keep Porter guessing, but he throws very little other punches. Thurman can throw body shots with power, but I also think he needs to up the activity. Khan used to do good body work, but in recent years it's been all arm punch flurries to the head.

Brook really lacks an inside attack, they need to work on that ASAP, but he's young doe.

Thurman I would say has more of an inside game and body attack than Khan but Thurman needs some polishing also.
