    Yup

I dont believe any of the training/sparring stories, coming from either camp.

Including the recent one from the Phillies, where Roach was unhappy with Pacs performance at training.

Remember when they were saying De la Hoya was allegedly getting beaten up by Edwin Valero in sparring in preparation for 2008's Pacquiao bout? Everybody was writing it off as prefight hoopla to make it look like Pacquiao had a chance against the seemingly giant De la Hoya. That rumor looks all the more true in hindsight. You can even see De la Hoya's face slightly bruised in one of the 24/7 episodes in the build-up to that fight.

What about when Errol Spence allegedly KO'd Adrien Broner in sparring? I know, I know. It's only sparring...but it's amusing to see how people just write it off 100% as it had no relevance in the lead-up to Broner's next fight.

These statements don't settle well with me. I've never been one to believe that Mayweather would be one to whitewash Pacquiao. Mayweather is a better known counter-puncher than JMM, but to put it plainly like that would be simplifying it as, counter-punching aside, they fight very differently.

Right now, I'm still leaning towards Floyd, but I do not expect Floyd to beat Pacquiao comfortably...at least not at this moment.
This argument always cracks me up.

      1) Juan Manuel Marquez is my favorite fighter, Mayweather is not

      2) They are both defensive counter-punchers

      3) Marquez is not just a master counter-puncher, he is also one of the best combination punchers you will ever see. He has mastered every punch/combination in the book, and added a few of his own.

      4) Mayweather is better than Marquez in EVERY department except possibly combination punching

If ever a triangle theory was relevant, that time is now.

When you say they are different, you are correct..... because Mayweather is much better. Everything that gave Pacquiao problems with Marquez, will get much worse against Mayweather.

I wish Arum and Roach would shut their mouths! Man hasn't placed their bet and the odds keep plummeting by day!

Why would anyone who saw Floyd in 2014 be surprised by these reports about him at age 38? Makes you wonder why the usually talkative and boisterous Mr. Gorilla Dog himself is all of a sudden as quiet as a field mouse. Maybe he's not feeling as confident as usual for whatever reason.

Marquez is a warrior who is willing to get hit.

                  Mayweather is still prime.
He should be destroying his sparring partners.

Except Manny never says anything during the lead up to a fight besides 'I want to give pans a good pight' or 'I will do my job in boxing' or maybe one or two other broken english go-to catch phrases he knows. Floyd on the other hand...

But now he's too busy concentrating and working hard to say something... for some easy work.

Marquez's own trainer said the triangle theory doesn't work for this fight. stop
