What from my statement seems ****** to you? You said people are acting as if Cotto's hand is not being forced by HBO. And I disagree, why simple Cotto has always planed to fight Canelo so how is HBO forcing him when it's a fight Cotto had always planed to make. This is HBO negotiating to secure the rights to a big fight nothing more again it's about money. The Cotto is scared of Canelo theory is BS that's my statemant.Comment

My guess is that Team Cotto has made it pretty clear to HBO that they wont be fighting GGG no matter what. Besides, truth is Cotto-Canelo would do more PPV buys than Cotto-GGG, which is all HBO should care about......If that were the case, why not go for the whole enchiladas and force him to fight GGG next his mandatory and not Canelo who brings nothing to the table? Simple it's called negotiating and it's all about money. The decision is rather easy Canelo a star or GGG some on the way up who's fans are maybe Canelo loyalist.Comment

The first half of your statement has not been proven, Cotto has stated that it's a possible fight in the future. And I already said the choice of Canelo over GGG by HBO is about PPV numbers.=big moneyComment

Cotto already said numerous times that whether or not it will be PPV would be dependent on the opponent and Roc Nation even said that they understood that a fight VS Bundrage was not PPV worthy. As for the catch weight as much as we hate them, technically 155lb is the MW minimum and 160lb is the maximum. So if both fighters agree it can be fought anywhere at or in between the minimum or maximum. ( I know it sucks)
There is no middleweight minimum. Leo Santa Cruz can fight a 160 lb cab driver and weigh in at 140. Technically the minimum weight within the middleweight division would be 154.000000........1Comment
