This can barely be considered forcing, HBO is negotiating for what is best for them in exchange for showing a non demanded fight. Cotto was always going to fight Canelo but now he gets the privileged of doing it without TR'S involvement and HBO will dictate the terms not Canelo and GB.

This next fight, regardless of who he fights now, is not PPV. But him and Roc probably don't know that.

As for the CW, maybe... but 155 is too extreme. If it's like 158 or 9 sure. If it's like 155 or something near the bottom, this fight can go fuck off

        WTF?

Cotto already said numerous times that whether or not it will be PPV would be dependent on the opponent and Roc Nation even said that they understood that a fight VS Bundrage was not PPV worthy. As for the catch weight as much as we hate them, technically 155lb is the MW minimum and 160lb is the maximum. So if both fighters agree it can be fought anywhere at or in between the minimum or maximum. ( I know it sucks)

Very interesting logic here. Basically GGG doesn't deserve to fight top level guys until he starts fighting top level guys, very contradicting statement.

Do you think Cotto is care of Canelo? you are delusional. The only reason the didn't fought on May is because Roach was not going to be able to train Cotto due to the May-Pac fight. Everyone know they are going to fight in September.

LOL these dudes are acting like HBO isn't forcing Cotto's hand.

If that were the case, why not go for the whole enchiladas and force him to fight GGG next his mandatory and not Canelo who brings nothing to the table? Simple it's called negotiating and it's all about money. The decision is rather easy Canelo a star or GGG some on the way up who's fans are maybe Canelo loyalist.
