If it dropped and rocked an iron chin Froch imagine what they shot would have done to Ward, Abraham, Dirrell, Degale, Kessler, ect.

Does it just drop them or does it KO them?

Golovkin would have smiled and knocked out Groves with a counterpunch.

It undoubtedly would have knocked him down and put him in serious trouble though. Kovalev and Bieterbeiv would also have gotten up I think.

It was a hell of a shot though. I see GGG and Chavez Jnr hurt and knocked into the ropes by it.

It wouldn't have KO'd any upper tier fighter. Froch's defense is garbage at times. He took it like a novice.

Luckily for Froch it happened at the end of the round. He was on ***** street and rocked badly again right at the bell. However Froch walked right into it while squared up, not many of the other top level fighters give you those clear opportunities to hit them that flush while squared up.

I give Groves a good shot at most people because i think he's very heavy handed and pretty quick. I think the version of Groves on the first fight with Froch beats any other active SMW at the time (Ward not included as he was inactive).

I doubt it. Minimum it would of rocked anyone. I can't see someone taking that punch and still come forward if it didn't knock them on their ass already.

Froch has a habit of coming in completely square and crossing his legs - putting his back leg in front of his lead leg. It's a really ****** habit - he did it a couple of times against Kessler in both fights and got buzzed.

If most other fighters made the same mistake then they'd get certainly get dropped or potentially KO'd. I was surprised how well he recovered from that - he was almost asleep on his way down.

Abraham and Kessler would probably been able to come up and recovered.
