Amir Khan felt disrespected by some of the recent comments from IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, who took a few jabs at the record of his domestic rival.

Brook was back in action on Saturday, making the first defense of his IBF title against mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan. Brook overwhelmed Dan with four knockdowns to gain a TKO in four.

Khan was last in action in December, when he won an impressive twelve round decision over two-division champion Devon Alexander.

Eddie Hearn of Matchroom, who promotes Brook, has set aside a date of June 13th at Wembley for a date against Khan, but that won't happen as Khan is planning to return in late May.

The only way for khan to literally earn a fight with mayweather is to fight brook and take his title. Khan is the definition of a ****boy. While I understand that Dan was the IBF #1 rated contender, there should be an investigation into who at the IBF thought he earned it. Dan had zero quality wins, very little offence and absolutely no defense. There's only been a handful of fighter through out history that deserved a title fight less.

You hyped up the win over Alexander as if you beat the undisputed WW champion of the world. The guy Brook beat smashed him with ease

It's so ironic. Khan said multiple times that he'd fight Brook if he had a belt. He said straight on Sky Sports "let's get the fight made man" and now he's backtracking every time Brook's name gets mentioned.

Brook already has a better WW resume than Khan (not that hard), but after he beats Marquez or Bradley in the summer, he'll be the official #3 ranked fighter in the division. Khan will fight Algieri and then the question is... Who deserves who?

Khan will have to fight a real hard punching WW to deserve Brook imo.
