Former IBF champion Kiko Martinez (32-5) has been named official challenger for EBU bantamweight ruler Lee Haskins (31-3). There is now a period of private negotiations but if no agreement is reached the EBU will call for purse bids.
Martinez lost the IBF super bantamweight title in September of last year to Carl Frampton but bounced back with a win in December over George Gacheiladze and is now dropping down to 118.
Haskins won the title this past February with a technical decision over Omar Lamiri.
