As sad as it is, I think Algieri might pull it off. Khan does good against guys who are there for him, Algieri might move around too much for him to do damage. In England Khan would win every round regardless though.

Paulie stopped him on cuts in a relatively competitive fight. Brook stopped him in what was more or less a routine fight.

Khan is saying he wants a mega fight against a world class opponent. Fighting Algieri over Brook would be the ultimate embarrassment. He's coming off a heavy defeat in which he lost in the most embarrassing of ways.

What could Khan possibly gain from fighting him?

Algieri is a true warrior who keeps getting up after knockdowns and beat another warrior in Provodnikov. Algieri is a bigger name in comparison to Brook having just fought Pacquiao. This is a great fight, make it happen.
