Watch the early rounds of the Carlos Hernandez fight. Mayweather fought very similarly to how he did in the first maidana fight. Obviously he has slowed down a bit, but I beleive it was the style and akwardness of maidana that troubled Floyd the most. Either way Floyds legs are still sufficient to deal with manny and he might not even have to use them all that much, he might fight more aggressive... Who knows
Roach doesn't make sense half the time but this one is really laughable.
So he claims Mayweather has the shot legs based on some tape, yet Pacquiao is being reported by every boxing site to be having leg cramps in camp and stating that he's had them for the past couple of fights.
So you got actual claims of Pac with leg cramps, but Mayweather is the one with the shot legs? How does that work?
Everyone thought Marquez wouldn't be as effective (except me).
It was sound objective reasoning to believe Marquez wouldn't be a match for Pac at WW.
It's a fact that Pacquiao has much better legs than Floyd, doe. The difference in foot speed, and dexterity is very noticeable. So to attack an area where you have a great advantage in, is good coaching.
**** outta here noob.
how exactly can pac attack floyd legs when he not bigger then him to lean on him and put extra weight on legs against ropes and pac comes forward which works to floyd advantage
I don't buy it. Best believe Freddie Roach controls the narrative of what people hear. Also once the news gets back to Manny it's gonna motivate him a lot more. Much better than having him think he's doing good(even if he is) and falling into a pattern where he becomes complacent sub-consciously because everyone is praising him.
Not only that, but let's say Roach isn't just spinning it to trick Floyd's camp. This is the biggest fight of his and Manny's career. Even if Manny's wrecking guys, and killing it in training sessions, you know he's so on edge he wants nothing but absolute perfection.
I think it's a case of Roach not settling for anything less than 120% perfection. Just being one of those hard nosed coaches, because this is the biggest fight of both of their careers, and he wants it so badly. As does Manny.
Roach is a horrible trainer banking on Mayweather's legs to be shot. Same mistake he made in Marquez 3. Banking on Marquez being ineffective at WW due to what happened with Floyd. Basically Roach is rolling dice.
You have to be dense if you think Roach isn't preparing him for every and any situation, and that Pac also knows what he has to do, and what dangers lie ahead. These are guys that live, breathe, eat, and sleep boxing, but they're over looking something. OK.

Bingo!
People have to realize that Pac's reputation isn't the only one at stake. Freddie probably wants this fight more than Manny tbh as he sees this as the ultimate middle finger to Floyd Sr, if they win the fight.
Mayweathers legs might be going, but Manny gets leg cramps. I think out of the two of them, Floyd is more likely to clinch and hang his weight on Manny, which would both conserve his legs and weaken Manny's. Clinching is just not Manny's style.
